Samsung Introduces World's First 30nm NAND Flash Memory Chip

Samsung announced a breakthrough on October 23 that it has developed a 64GB NAND flash memory chip based on 30-nanometer process technology, which Samsung claimed to be the world's first model.
The new chip was developed using Samsung's proprietary SaDPT (Self-aligned Double Patterning Technology) technology, along with its 60nm production equipment, Korean Yonhap News reported.
